Which base systems does JustBases install?

Depending on the application, JustBases can consider concrete, paving slabs, treated timber frames and installed ground screws with a suitable support frame. The options are assessed against the structure, loads, support layout, ground and access.

Are ground screws suitable for every application?

Ground screws are versatile, quick to install and can greatly reduce excavation and wet concrete, but they are not automatically right for every structure or item of equipment. The ground, loads, support geometry and supplier or engineer requirements must all be compatible.

Do I need technical drawings before asking for a quote?

No. You can make first contact with a product link, approximate dimensions and a few site photographs. For specialist or highly loaded items, final approved information may be needed before the foundation specification and installation are confirmed.

How are specialist foundation prices calculated?

Common garden-building footprints can use the guide prices on our Prices page. Specialist foundations are priced from the actual support plan, loads, access, levels, ground and agreed groundwork, then confirmed in a written quotation.

Does JustBases install the building or equipment too?

The normal JustBases scope is the base and agreed groundwork. Building erection, specialist equipment installation, electrical or gas connections and commissioning are included only when the written quotation expressly says so.

Can JustBases work with my supplier or structural engineer?

Yes. We can work from supplier drawings, support plans or an engineer's approved detail and clarify the foundation scope before installation. Design responsibility remains with the relevant appointed party.

Do foundation projects need planning permission or building regulations approval?

Approvals apply to the complete proposal, not merely the visible base. Requirements vary with use, size, position, land status and structure, so check the relevant application page and confirm the proposal with the local authority or project professional when needed.

What does the JustBases 10-year guarantee cover?

Our full written 10-year guarantee covers JustBases installation workmanship and the foundation materials we supply, subject to the written quotation. It is separate from any building, equipment or third-party warranty.
