JustBases is expanding its network of reliable ground screw installers for customer projects around Ringwood, Dorset, Hampshire, the New Forest and nearby parts of South Wiltshire.
This is hands-on, self-employed ground screw work for people who already understand installation—not an entry-level trainee role. You must have at least 12 months of direct experience and be comfortable dealing with more than one type of ground condition.
Previous job titles may have included ground screw installer, ground screw technician, groundworker, foundation installer or screw-pile installer. Whatever the title, Craig will want to understand what you have installed, the equipment you have used and how you respond when the ground is less straightforward than expected.

Payment
A clear fixed rate for screws installed
Payment is agreed by the number of ground screws installed, with different arrangements depending on whether you provide your own suitable driver.

Day-to-day standards
What the project work involves
- Install ground screws accurately for garden rooms, sheds and other supported structures.
- Work from the agreed layout and keep screw positions, height and level under control.
- Adapt sensibly when soil, roots, obstructions or access make an installation less straightforward.
- Use installation equipment safely and look after any machine, driver, tooling or accessories used on the project.
- Communicate clearly with Craig and work respectfully on customers' properties.
- Leave the installation area orderly and ready for the agreed support frame or next trade.

You should normally be based within roughly 40 miles of Ringwood, or be able to reach projects throughout that area reliably.
The essential requirement is at least 12 months of hands-on ground screw installation experience, including work in varied ground conditions.
Experience setting out foundations, checking line and level, using electric installation drivers and solving practical site problems will all be relevant. Mention any related groundworks, screw-pile or helical-pile experience, but be clear about your direct ground screw work.
