A headstone is fixed as a complete system of stone, base, dowels, foundation and—where required—an accredited ground anchor. Stability depends on all those components working together.
JustBases will quote only for clearly defined foundation groundwork approved by the burial authority and memorial mason. We do not sell, letter, fix or certify the memorial itself.

Precast reinforced foundations or cast in-situ concrete are used only within the approved memorial-fixing system and cemetery rules.

Before installation
The memorial mason remains responsible for BS 8415-compliant fixing, dowels and any accredited anchor. A concrete slab alone is not a complete compliant installation.
Many burial authorities restrict who may work in their cemeteries. Written permission and contractor requirements must be resolved first.
