A level slabbed area is practical beneath many domestic coops and makes the immediate perimeter easier to clean.
Often worth considering for: Small and medium garden hen houses
From £620 for 9' × 5' (45 ft² / 4.18 m²)
Specialist base installation
A coop base should keep the house dry and stable while helping prevent foxes and rodents from exploiting the ground perimeter.

Built for this application
Small hen houses are often placed straight on soil, where floor timbers remain damp and predators can work at the edges. A prepared base makes cleaning easier and can be coordinated with an anti-dig run perimeter.
We install paved, concrete or framed support for the house and can form a separate secure detail around an attached run.
Options, assessed properly
The methods below are possibilities to assess—not interchangeable specifications. We match the foundation to the product, loads, support points, ground and access.
Paving slabs
A level slabbed area is practical beneath many domestic coops and makes the immediate perimeter easier to clean.
Often worth considering for: Small and medium garden hen houses
From £620 for 9' × 5' (45 ft² / 4.18 m²)
Concrete
A slab provides a secure, cleanable floor and can close the house against burrowing predators.
Often worth considering for: Permanent poultry houses and frequently used runs
From £695 for 8' × 6' (48 ft² / 4.46 m²)
Ground screws
Screws and a raised frame can support a timber house above damp ground; the run still requires its own predator barrier.
Often worth considering for: Larger raised coops and uneven gardens
Installed screws from £1,180 for 8' × 6' (48 ft² / 4.46 m²); frame quoted separately
Timber frame
A raised treated frame can support a lightweight coop when the underside is secured against pests.
Often worth considering for: Portable-style timber houses being made more permanent
From £840 for 8' × 6' (48 ft² / 4.46 m²)

Before installation
Registering kept birds is now widely required in Great Britain, including small flocks. Check current APHA rules as well as local planning or covenant issues.
Do not rely on ordinary chicken wire as the complete predator solution; the coop supplier or animal-welfare adviser should define the enclosure security.
JustBases quotes the agreed foundation and groundwork. Product installation, specialist connections, commissioning and third-party design remain outside our scope unless the written quotation expressly includes them.
A simple route forward
Tell us about the chicken coop, approximate size and site. We will identify any useful supplier information.
We assess access, levels, support requirements and ground, then provide a clear written quotation.
Our team installs the agreed base and leaves it ready for the approved building or equipment installer.

"Craig and his team were very professional throughout the job. They worked tirelessly and extremely hard. The job involved digging up a thick reinforced concrete base.
