Concrete
Concrete foundation
A reinforced equipment pad or inertia block can be formed to the approved dimensions, reinforcement and anchor layout.
Often worth considering for: Permanent standby and commercial generator sets
Specialist base installation
Generator foundations follow the equipment manufacturer's skid, anchor and vibration requirements—not a generic machinery slab.

Built for this application
A standby generator combines static weight with vibration, torque and service connections. Its base must support the skid evenly and leave access for maintenance, cooling air, exhaust and fuel arrangements.
We install concrete pads or the approved supporting groundwork from a manufacturer or engineer detail. Generator supply, earthing, fuel and commissioning remain with the specialist contractor.
Options, assessed properly
The methods below are possibilities to assess—not interchangeable specifications. We match the foundation to the product, loads, support points, ground and access.
Concrete
A reinforced equipment pad or inertia block can be formed to the approved dimensions, reinforcement and anchor layout.
Often worth considering for: Permanent standby and commercial generator sets
Ground screws
An engineered screw-supported steel frame may be considered for selected packaged generators when expressly approved for dynamic loads.
Often worth considering for: Specialist modular or temporary systems with a designed skid interface
Specialist foundations are quoted from the actual product, support plan and site information. No VAT is added to the guide prices shown.
Before installation
Provide the installation manual and final generator model. Some units are skid-mounted with integral isolation; others require a more substantial inertia foundation.
Noise, exhaust, fuel storage, earthing and electrical connections are separate design matters and must be coordinated by the responsible specialists.
JustBases quotes the agreed foundation and groundwork. Product installation, specialist connections, commissioning and third-party design remain outside our scope unless the written quotation expressly includes them.
A simple route forward
Tell us about the generator, approximate size and site. We will identify any useful supplier information.
We assess access, levels, support requirements and ground, then provide a clear written quotation.
Our team installs the agreed base and leaves it ready for the approved building or equipment installer.
Genuine customer feedback
"I couldn't recommend Craig highly enough! Communication prior to the job was outstanding even considering our ever changing goal posts. Craig and his team turned up exactly at the agreed time, were well presented, friendly and professional. The cleanliness, attention to detail and quality of the job was outstanding."
"Good standard of workmanship. Friendly and efficient. Prompt response for estimate and fitted into our timescale. Will be using the firm in future and thoroughly recommend them."
"Craig and his team were very professional throughout the job. They worked tirelessly and extremely hard. The job involved digging up a thick reinforced concrete base. Then creating a whole new base with precision engineering in preparation to accept a new building on top. The result was an excellent job all round."
