Masonry pizza ovens can be extremely heavy once the hearth, insulation, stand and outer finish are included. Even portable-looking metal ovens may sit on stone-topped units with concentrated leg loads.

Dimensions, approvals and responsibilities
Ask the oven supplier for the total built weight and base-plan dimensions, not only the metal or refractory oven core weight.
The foundation contractor does not determine flue height, combustible clearances or gas connections; those remain governed by the product and competent installer.
